Her light grey eyes darted nervously from side to side. It was the only part of her that appeared nervous. Then again much of her face was covered by the collar of her cloak. She ducked her chin in farther as she walked, the wind swirling around her feet gently. The grey cloak she had wrapped herself in fluttered gently in the wind, revealing the worn blue-grey dress she wore beneath it. Her feet were bare, kicking up leaves as she continued through the forest. Her pointed ears twitched as she tried to pick out and identify the smallest of sounds.
She shrugged her shoulders slightly, readjusting the bow and quiver that she had draped across her back, trying to push them up further. Her sensitive ears picked up the crunching of leaves, and the heavy breathing of another creature. Immediately the bow was in her hands, an arrow already on its way to being notched. She looked towards the bushes from which the sound had come.
